שלושת המוסקטרים: הרומן השלם בכרך אחד
The Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas: new Hebrew translation, the complete novel in one volume
This edition is in Hebrew.
April 1625. D'Artagnan, an eighteen-year-old Gascon, rides to Paris on an absurd yellow pony, with fifteen écus in his pocket and a letter to M. de Tréville, captain of the King's Musketeers. On the day he presents himself to Tréville he arranges, within an hour, three duels with three musketeers: Athos, Porthos and Aramis.
When the Cardinal's guards come to arrest them, the four fight them together, and from that day they are four. For Queen Anne of Austria they set out for London, to win back from the Duke of Buckingham the diamond studs she gave him, before the ball at which the King has ordered her to wear them; and on the road they fall behind one by one.
And in the Cardinal Richelieu's service works the most dangerous enemy of all: Milady.
